10x Alpe d`Huez and 11 downhills which are as much as 11.034 meters – this is the exactly same distance as the deepest point on earth – the mariana trench in the pacific ocean. Michael achieved this effort on the e-sport platform Zwift in 11 hours!
Michael Knudsen started on the 10. July at 07.00 A.M and kept riding a really strong pace on an average of around 230 watts. The goal was to collect money for the danish Multiple Sclerosis Foundation – Scleroseforening.( https://www.scleroseforeningen.dk/ )
In Denmark are 16.500 people suffering with MS. The numbers are increasing every year. Denmark is currently on the 3rd. Place in the world with the highest numbers of affected people.
600 people yearly get the diagnosis of MS, 2/3 of this are women.
Michel is an ambassador of MS Bike Challenge ( https://mschallenge.dk/ )
and wanted to get the word out to encourage people donating money for the danish foundation – while cycling a trenching on Zwift.
You can still donate and support the danish foundation Scleroseforening right here: https://dk.betternow.org/fundraisers/michael-knudsen-s-ms-bike-2020-indsamling
Here are some impressions from Michaels ride on Friday the 10th of July:

350 watts on climbs is a number Michael pushes over hours.
